My Story

I started my new role as Community Fundraising Assistant at the RAF Benevolent Fund in December 2022, and after seeing the incredible work they do, I've decicided to get involved and take part in the GNR myself. If you know me, you know I'm not a runner, so please donate what you can to support the cause and make it worth it!!

Here's a bit more about the charity and what we do....

People who have served in the RAF are trained to be self-reliant. They don't want to make a fuss and they don't want to be a burden. So all too often, when life gets tough, they suffer in silence.

We don't believe anyone who has served their country should have to struggle through life.

We're the RAF Benevolent Fund, and we're here to support people who are serving or have served and their families, when they need it most.

From counselling and financial support to adapting homes or replacing boilers, from the big challenges to the small changes, we can help people live with the dignity and independence they deserve.

For over 100 years, we've been the RAFs most devoted friend, supporting the whole of the RAF Family from the oldest veteran to the youngest child.

Together, we'll continue to be here for as long as they need us.
